• Account data: Your name, email address, and a hashed password stored via Neon Managed Auth.
• Product submission data: Product name, URL, description, and logo URL you provide.
• Challenge activity: Your challenge session records, answers, correctness, and apples data.
• Session data: A secure session token stored in an HTTP-only cookie for authentication.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To display your product on the leaderboard.
• To compute and store your apples and score.
• To detect and prevent cheating and abuse.

Data Storage

All application data is stored in PostgreSQL hosted on Neon. Authentication is provided by Neon Managed Better Auth. No client-side storage (localStorage, IndexedDB) is used for persistent data.

Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Third-Party Services

• Neon — Database and authentication hosting.

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us. We will remove your data within a reasonable time frame.
